Fax machines are widespread and knowledge of them is pretty good, where you can get a clear line for international fax transmission. Official JTC offices don't have the facilities for sending or receiving faxes; instead, you should go to the unofficial communications bureaux, which often charge a small sur-charge per page on top of the usual phone rates. It's also worth checking out computer offices, many of who offer an email-to-fax service at a fraction of paper rates. Larger JTC offices have facilities for sending telegrams, which cost around 100 fils per word, depending on the destination country.
